Objectives: The “Your Time Counts” initiative aims to: Encourage Federal Government employees to participate in organized volunteer work. Promote a culture of giving and social responsibility within the government work environment. Enable employees to contribute their expertise and skills in service of the community. Support national efforts to promote volunteerism and maximize its positive impact on society. How to Participate: Federal Government employees can participate in the initiative by: 1. Registering on the National Volunteer Platform. 2. Browsing available volunteer opportunities on the Platform. 3. Selecting a suitable volunteer opportunity and participating in it. 4. Documenting volunteer hours electronically through the platform. Recording Volunteer Hours: Volunteer hours for participating employees are documented through the National Volunteer Platform. These hours are also counted as motivational points within the Federal Government employees’ performance management system “Injazati”, in recognition of their community contributions and to encourage continued participation in volunteer work. “Future Step” Portal Your first step towards your future The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has launched the “Future Step” portal, an AI-powered platform designed to enhance practical training for fresh graduates and university students in federal government entities. The portal helps refine skills and prepare young talents for the future job market, in line with UAE Vision 2031. What the Portal Offers: Access and apply for training opportunities across federal entities. Track applications and training progress online. AI-powered matching of skills to suitable opportunities for a smoother training experience. Objectives: Support and qualify national talents. Develop practical skills for graduates and students. Enhance professional readiness. Foster a culture of experiential learning. Training Duration: 3 months Key Roles: Students/Graduates: Register, complete training, and document achievements.
