FAHR announces official working hours during the Holy Month of Ramadan for federal entities

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) issued a circular regarding the official working hours for employees of the federal government sector during the Holy Month of Ramadan for the year 2026, corresponding to 1447 AH.

According to the circular, official working hours for federal ministries and entities will be from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., from Monday to Thursday, while working hours on Friday will be from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., except for those whose job nature requires otherwise.

The Authority confirmed that federal ministries and entities may, in line with work requirements, continue to implement their approved flexible working arrangements during Ramadan working days, in accordance with the established rules and controls and within the prescribed daily working hours. Additionally, entities may allow up to 70% of their employees to work remotely on Fridays during Ramadan.

On this occasion, the Authority extended its highest congratulations and blessings to the leadership, government, and people of the United Arab Emirates, as well as residents on its land and the Arab and Islamic nations, praying to Almighty Allah to return this blessed month with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.
