The Government of the United Arab Emirates participated in the 21st Meeting of Ministers and Heads of Civil Service and Administrative Development of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Hosted by the State of Kuwait, the meeting was chaired by H.E. Shareeda Abdullah Saad Al Maousherji, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs in the State of Kuwait, and attended by H.E. Jasem Al-Budaiwi, Secretary-General of the GCC.

H. E. Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future and Chairwoman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), took part in the ceremony organized to honor GCC talents with the GCC Civil Service and Administrative Development Medal. Medals were awarded to distinguished government professionals who have made valuable contributions throughout their careers in civil service and administrative development and have actively contributed to the advancement of human resources and government work in the GCC.
