Eid Al Fitr Holiday in the Federal Government from 19 to 22 March 2026

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced today that the Eid Al-Fitr holiday for the UAE federal government for the year 1447 AH will commence on Thursday, 19 March 2026, and continue until Sunday, 22 March 2026. Official working hours will resume on Monday, 23 March 2026.

The Authority’s circular, addressed to all ministries and federal entities, was issued pursuant to Cabinet Resolution No. (27) of 2024 concerning official holidays in the UAE.

On this joyous occasion, the Authority extended its warmest congratulations and blessings to the leadership, government, and people of the United Arab Emirates, as well as to its residents and to the Arab and Islamic nations, praying to Almighty Allah to return this occasion upon all with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.
