UAE Participates in 119th Session of Executive Council of ARADO

The UAE Government participated in the 119th regular session of the Executive Council of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO), held recently at the Organization’s headquarters in Cairo, Egypt. The three-day meeting brought together ministers and senior officials responsible for civil service and administrative development from member states.

The UAE was represented by a delegation from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), led by H.E. Faisal Binbuti AL Mheiri, Director General of the FAHR. The delegation also included H.E. Ibrahim Ahmed Fikri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector; Zayed Al Qahtani, Director of Human Resources Development; and Meitha Kolthoum, Director of Government Communication and International Relations.

H.E. Faisal Al Mheiri affirmed the UAE’s commitment to supporting ARADO and contributing expertise and knowledge to advance administrative development in the region, enhance government systems, and improve institutional efficiency.

He highlighted the importance of such periodic meetings among decision-makers in civil service and human resources, as they facilitate the exchange of best practices and administrative experiences that contribute to strengthening joint Arab efforts, empowering human capital, developing government work, enhancing institutional roles, and nurturing public sector talents in the region, aligning with the rapid global transformations in administrative environments.

He also commended the vital role of ARADO as a regional platform for the exchange of expertise in administrative systems development, government efficiency, and performance improvement, through specialized training programs, applied research, and consultancy services that build capacity and support sustainable development.

The session addressed several agenda items, including follow-up on previous Executive Council decisions, ARADO’s achievements report for last year, the Organization’s final financial statements, and a proposal to update certain internal regulations, reflecting the Council’s commitment to continuous development and modernization of administrative frameworks.
