How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

HR Club Forum discusses Thursday ‘Occupational Health & Safety in the Workplace’

Under the patronage of His Excellency Ahmed Bahloul Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), the HR Club will hold a forum organized by FAHR on " Occupational Health & Safety in the Workplace". The event will take place on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at Hayatt Regency Creek Heights, Dubai- Al Maha Ballroom No (1, 2) from 1.00 to 2.30 pm

In this regard, Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of Projects and Programs, said that the forum will feature a discussion session to be moderated by Elie Ghosoub, Principal Consultant – Health, Safety & Risk Management Middle East (WSP). Speakers at the session include Dr. Eng. Waddah Shihab Ghanem BEng {Hons), MSc. MBA, Executive Director EHSSQ & Corporate Affairs (ENOC); Dr. Rob Cooling, Director of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment- Real Estate and Delivery in the 2020 Expo project; Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim AINakhi, Technical Lead - BP- UAE; and Eng. Raed Mohammed AI Marzouqi, Head of H&S Section - Dubai Municipality.

Al Muhairi pointed out that the guests of the forum will highlight a number of topics, including: the best practices applied globally in the field of occupational health and safety in the work environment, and the basic principles for designing a comfortable work environment commensurate with the needs and requirements of employees and customers alike.

"They will also stress on the advantages of applying mandatory health and safety standards at the work environment, such as increasing institutional efficiency, reducing the proportion of potential risks, minimizing injuries and accidents in the workplace, ensuring employee wellness and improving performance and productivity levels", he noted.

He added that the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources will hold four specialized workshops on occupational health and safety the same day, in both Arabic and English, with the participation of dozens of HR professionals and those interested in the field from among the federal government employees. He thanked the sponsors of the Human Resource Club, exclusive sponsor Emirates Islamic and knowledge sponsor Dubai Knowledge Park.

The workshops will address the following topics: psychological balance strategies, impact of office design on employee physical and mental health, workplace safety and job satisfaction, effects of noise on occupational health and safety

Human Resources Club

Al-Muhairi said that the Human Resources Club launched in 2010 is one of the most important strategic initiatives of the Authority. It is an interactive platform and an intellectual and knowledge communication channel that brings together interested people, human resources specialists and experts under one roof to share ideas, experiences and solutions that could enhance the roles assigned to human resources departments and other institutional service bodies across different sectors in the country.

"The HR Club offers its membership, which has grown to over 12 thousand, an ideal opportunity to learn about the best practices, experiences and success stories of many individuals and institutions, as well as meeting with specialists and practitioners in the field of institutional work", he concluded.
