The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), has recently launched its e-Forum via FAHR web page on LinkedIn network, in partnership with the world’s largest professional network. The e-Forum will act as an umbrella that brings together all those interested in human resources and human capital development issues in the UAE and worldwide to exchange experiences and views on topics related to the development of human capital and global best HR practices.
In this regard, Zayed Al Baadani, Director of Performance Appraisal & Follow-Up, FAHR, explained that the project was aimed at creating a platform for dialogue on the most important topics related to human capital management, and successful experiences and practices in this area, through providing employees with the opportunity to discuss such topics and share their views in various issues relating to their profession and duties.
He stressed that the e-Forum aims to establish an interactive platform for discussing trendy HR topics and studies prepared periodically by the FAHR team in charge of the Forum, particularly the latest scientific articles in the field of human resources and global best practices in this area.
Al Baadani added: “The Forum will not only put forward topics and issues related to the development of human capital, but will also become one of FAHR’s major media channels to advertise the events and forums of HR Club, including international conferences and events organized by a group of leading global institutions on human resources. In addition, it is a platform for knowledge management and exchange between human resources professionals in the UAE and their peers in the region and the around the world”
“The issue of job satisfaction is the first of the topics that have been raised through the e-Forum” he said, stressing that the subject was met with attention and interaction by experts and specialists in the field of human resources in the UAE and the region. He then called on all those interested in the field to join the Forum through FAHR page on LinkedIn network, and participate in the various topics raised from time to time, such as: job satisfaction, recruitment, training and development, performance management, productivity enhancement, rewards and incentives, and career development.
