Her Excellency Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), stressed that the Commemoration Day (Martyr's Day) reflects our devotion to the martyrs of our homeland at its finest, while expressing our pride in their sacrifices, and honoring their timeless memory.
Her Excellency stated, “The righteous martyrs of the homeland wrote with their pure blood, valiant sacrifices and heroic actions, bright pages whilst defending our nation, preserving our sovereignty, and maintaining our independence.” H.E. also praised the sincere and devoted efforts made by the UAE valiant Armed Forces to preserve its security and combat the dangers threatening its soil.
She explained that the UAE Wise Leadership highly appreciates the efforts of its people and their great sacrifices in all workplaces, especially the heroic frontline responders in the Armed Forces, who spare no effort in preserving the achievements of the Federation and defending the soil of the homeland.
H.E. Laila Al Suwaidi reported that the UAE has been and will remain faithful to the sacrifices of its martyrs who hastened to sacrifice their lives to defend their homeland and keep the nation’s flag standing tall with pride among other nations.
The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) celebrated the Commemoration Day ceremony, at the attendance of a number of its officials and employees in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ceremony was initiated with a minute of silent prayer for the martyrs of the homeland, and then raising the flag while playing the national anthem.
