The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), concluded today its innovative activities and events organized for its employees during the UAE Innovation Week, including: a workshop on the role of robots in institutional work, latest training techniques, a sessions on reading, and honoring winners of innovation contest involving FAHR employees.
In this regard Fatima Houti, Director of Strategy & Future Department confirmed that the Authority has received nearly 272 external entries and proposals under innovation competition launched during the Innovation Week, inviting participation by all FAHR customers, partners and employees, as well as people from other ministries and federal authorities to provide innovative proposals that contribute to the development of human resources initiatives and systems in the Federal Government.
She said: “86% of the proposals have been submitted by employees working for ministries and federal bodies, and they are subject to scrutiny at present to select the useful ones. Winners will be honored for outstanding suggestions which revolve around three broad topics: enhancement of the Authority’s services, customer happiness and satisfaction, and partnership between the public and private sectors”.
The Authority organized a workshop on the growing role of robots in organizations, and how organizations can take advantage of this advanced technology to serve strategic objectives, in addition to a special ceremony to recognize winners of “My Innovation” competition.
Simulation Training
And ensure innovation week in the Commission make a special presentation on the training simulation highlighted the latest technology used for training the default such as training, where the Commission staff know the concept of training Ballabalve the form of a boom in several areas notably education and training, and is defined as the application of game elements and techniques of digital design for the Games in achieving Objectives.

The final day of Innovation Week events featured a specialized workshop on the future of human resources, and a special presentation on simulation training highlighting the latest technology used for training, such as virtual training through creating game-based learning modules in real situations objectives.
Two Reading Sessions
The closing day of the Innovation Week saw the opening of two reading sessions for the employees, the first titled "Shaping the Future", in collaboration with West company, which focused on acquainting the participants with the importance of having something to look forward and its role in overcoming the crisis in an organization, and the six faces of the future: Fast, Urban, Tribal, Universal, Radical and Ethical.
The second workshop was entitled "Reading: for pleasure or knowledge?’" in collaboration with National Geographic Arabic, which addressed the key role of reading for the advancement of nations, as well as in maintaining their gains and achievements, and how to take advantage of modern technology and techniques of the various learning and reading methods to develop skills and knowledge, and enjoy reading at the same time.
