The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has released the fifth edition of the specialized bilingual and biannual magazine HR Echo. The content of the magazine, published online and in print versions, is prepared in partnerships with globally recognized organizations in the field of human capital development, such as the British Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD); Boston Consultancy Group (PCG); Monash University in Australia; Gallup Institute, Duke University in US; the Association of Qualitative Research in UK, and the Korean Institute for Officials Training (COTI).
HE Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources Policies, FAHR, explained that HR Echo Magazine is one of the innovative initiatives of FAHR, which aims to draw the attention of those involved in human capital development to address the key issues and latest global developments in this area, in light of research conducted worldwide.
She explained that HR Echo Magazine seeks to reach the largest segments of customers, partners and the public, as well as HR professionals and those interested in human capital development, not only within the UAE but in the region and the world.
Al Suwaidi said: “The fifth issue of the Magazine includes a set of scientific articles, studies and global experiences on human capital development and improvement of institutional system and business environment through promoting the adoption of innovative working practices. The publication focuses on the younger generation and what they want to get out of job, the digital government and the importance of transforming government services to smart, the future industry, new horizons in talent management, why employees’ happiness is so important today?, and an overview about the future of human resources.
“Both hard and online copies of the magazine are distributed for free to more than 70 thousand readers inside and outside the state. The Authority has a huge database as part of HR Management Information System, “BAYANATI”, its accounts on the social media websites, mailing lists to a variety of partners and friends of the Authority, in addition to HR Club members. The publication is available on FAHR website www.fahr.gov.ae, in both Arabic and English, and readers can subscribe online”.
