The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has revealed that the employees of ministries and federal entities posted nearly 11 thousand requests to obtain to Whom It May Concern certificates electronically since May and until the end of August , 2016 using self-service system, an important function of Human Resources Management Information (BAYANATI) applied in the federal government.
In this regard Klaitham Al Shamsi, director of human resources information system at FAHR explained that to Whom It May Concern certificates service activated by FAHR in the middle of this year through BAYANATI system allows the staff of ministries and federal bodies to obtain certificates within just two hours of the application. Examples include certificates for detailed salary, total salary, etc.
She added: “These certificates could either be signed electronically by the system, or manually by the HR department team in the ministry or the federal entity. The self-service system received during the period between May and August, 11,000 applications for to Whom It May Concern certificates, 7,900 signed electronically through the system. The Ministry of Education topped the ministries and federal entities with 5963 requests, followed by the Ministry of Health and prevention with 2523, and the Emirates Identity Authority in third place with 866 requests for to Whom It May Concern certificates.
