The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) revealed that nearly 260 thousand human resources transactions had been carried out by the staff of the ministries and federal entities using self-service function within the Human Resources Management Information System (BAYANATI), currently being operated in the Federal Government. The report on transactions conducted during the first half of 2016 showed that the Ministry of Health topped the ministries and federal entities with 114 thousand transactions.
Federal Authority for Government Human Resources explained that the total number of human resources procedures carried out by the ministries and federal agencies staff across the self-service system in the human resources information management in the federal government system, "Me" reached nearly 260 thousand made during the first half of 2016, pointing out that the Ministry of Health topped the ministries and federal agencies in terms of number of transactions rose 114 thousand making procedures.
In this context, Klaitham Shamsi, Director of Human Resources Management Information System in the Authority explained that the self-service is one of the most important features of the four stages of the system, as it enables the Federal Government employees to complete and follow up their human resources transactions on their own, thus contributing to facilitating HR services in ministries and federal agencies, and helping HR departments to focus on strategic programs and initiatives.
She pointed out that most of the actions carried out by the ministries and federal agencies staff across the self-service system during the first half of this year focused on leaves of all kinds (study, annual, maternity and paternity, sick), as well as personal data such as marital status updating, details of educational qualifications, extracting To Whom It May Concern and salary certificates, in addition to electronic Performance Management and Training & Development Systems for Federal government employees, officially launched by FAHR during 2014.
2 Thousand “Makassar” e-Cards via Smart Application during the first half
Klaitham Al Shamsi said that employees of the ministries and federal bodies had shared more than two thousand electronic cards circulated under Maqassart Initiative through the smart application ‘FAHR’ during the first half of 2016. She explained that “Maqassert” (Thank You) electronic card is exchanged by the staff of the Federal Government, as an expression of appreciation to each others’ efforts and achievements, and those who share the card most frequently at the Federal Government level are honored at the end of every month.
