The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has recently signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Bonds Corporation, whereby the latter will sponsor the employee discount program "Imtyazat", and offer exclusive discounts to Federal Government employees on all its services and products.

HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar hailed the signing of the MoU as a great contribution to the efforts exerted by the Authority to increase the number of companies joining the discount program for the Federal Government employees "Imtyazat", with a view to diversify the business sectors and ensure quality of services and added value. He called on the private sector companies wishing to join the program to register through the Authority’s website: www.fahr.gov.ae.

HE said: “ Imtiaz is regarded the largest initiative of its kind in the UAE, whereby the Authority signs partnerships with private sector companies to offer preferential prices for Federal Government employees and their families on goods and services provided.

“It embodies the keenness of FAHR to create a positive and competitive work environment conducive to productivity in the Federal Government, which would contribute to the Federal Government’s competitiveness and make it a preferred destination for innovators.”

He thanked all partners of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources generally, and particularly Imtiyazat program sponsors: Commercial Bank of Dubai, Emirates Telecommunications Company (Etisalat) and National Bonds Corporation, as well as all parties that supported the program over the past five years.

Mr. Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer of National Bonds Corporation, said: "We are proud to partner with the Federal Authority Government Human Resources in this important initiative, which will boost efforts to achieve happiness and welfare of Federal Government employees, as it provides a wide range of privileges that employees and their families will benefit from."

He affirmed the commitment of the National Bonds Corporation to support the Government's vision to promote a culture of loyalty and happiness among its employees and achieve its mission to build a more stable and prosperous future for all citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates.

Al Ali pointed out that the partnership will enable the Federal Government employees to take advantage of the offers provided by the Corporation in the form of tailored service packages.

“We will organize various workshops and seminars for Federal Government employees on financial planning within "Imtyazat" initiative, to promote a culture of savings, in light of the increasing requirements of today’s life”, he said.

8 thousand uploads to apply "Imtyazat" in two and a half months

For his part, Mahmoud Al Marzouqi, Director of Government Communication, FAHR, said: “The Authority has recently launched Imtyazat program as a smart application that serves employees at all times and in all places, in a move to support the wise vision of our Government towards smart transformation. Smart application Imtiyazat is highly interactive and easy to browse for Federal Government employees to review the competitive offers provided exclusively for them by Imtyazat partners, along with interactive maps and opportunity for companies listed under the initiative to update their offers as required.”
