The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) urged all ministries and federal bodies to update their employees’ national identity data within the Human Resources Management Information System in the federal government «BAYANATI». The request follows an earlier circular requesting entering the national identity numbers into personnel files, issued by the Ministry of Finance, to complete updating the identity of the federal government records.
A special circular by the Authority stressed the importance of BAYANATI system as the only platform through which human resources and payroll transactions are carried out in all ministries and a large number of independent federal authorities operating the system, calling on these entities to complete data entering process according to prescribed rules and operating procedures.
FAHR also noted that to assist them to effectively respond to the requirements of the circular, employees have been provided with facilities to perform the updating process through the self-service function available in BAYANATI system to all employees using Emirates ID, passport, unified number and residence data, and also through the Smart App.(FAHR), or documentation management in BAYANATI, available to HR departments staff.
Linking the HR Management Information System “BAYANATI” the federal government to national identity card readers aims to provide a mechanism for entering federal government employees’ data registered on national identity into the system directly to ensure the
accuracy, timeliness and quality of data collected and recorded. It also facilitates modification processes conducted by human resource departments in ministries and federal entities, and improves BAYANATI supporting services through integration of the system with other government systems, in addition to unifying formulation of data entered into the system with the data recorded in the federal government systems, which would help in extraction of accurate statistics to support decision-making process.
