How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

Five new types of contracts and jobs within Emiratization indicators in the Federal Government

Sunday October 12, 2014

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced that, in coordination with the Office of the Prime Minister, five new types of contract and employment systems will be introduced as part of indicators in calculating the percentage of Emiratization in 45 federal entities, which include 18 ministries and 37 independent authorities, stressing that the only data source will be the Human Resource Management Information System «BAYANATI» run by FAHR.

The newly introduced job categories include all types of special and outsourced contracts for natural persons performing functions at a federal entity, in addition to contracts of experts and consultants, and part-time or temporary jobs. These diverse job categories were included as part of calculating Emiratization rates achieved in each federal entity, starting from the year 2014.

FAHR has issued a circular emphasizing that Emiratization indicators apply to  all government agencies, i.e. ministries and independent authorities without exception, and urging ministries and independent authorities to enter all data concerning employees, nationals and expatriates, appointed on the aforementioned job categories, into BAYANATI System.

The circular also requested inclusion of all data of support workers, who will not be considered for Emiratization purposes, such as drivers, guards, messengers, etc.

Mariam Al Abbar, Executive Director of Programs & Human Resource Planning, at the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, said: “The circular issued by FAHR requires all federal entities to enter their employees’ data into BAYANATI System, in order for these entities to calculate the Emiratization percentages accurately.

“In the past, some jobs were not counted within Emiratization indicators, or entered into BAYANATI System, but now the case is different, because we want this data to be documented to help guide Emiratization plans, and cover all federal bodies and different sectors and job categories in a comprehensive manner”.
