The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has proactively responded to the compassion campaign "Trahmou" recently initiated by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to aid million refugees affected by winter cold in the Levant.
FAHR reacted by calling on all the Federal Government employees at its headquarters, ministries and federal entities, HR Club members and its partners to contribute to the campaign and donate through the UAE Red Crescent accounts. The call was directed through social networking websites and e-mail, including promotional words and disseminating the campaign posters.
In this regard, Mahmoud Al Marzouki, FAHR’s Director of Government Communication emphasized that the humanitarian initiative, is no stranger to the UAE rulers, who have always lent a helping hand to all those in need around the world.
Al Marzouki pointed out that the UAE leads the way in launching humanitarian initiatives that have had a profound impact on alleviating the suffering of the poor and the needy all over the world, which has contributed to positioning the UAE among the global pioneering countries in humanitarian fields, thanks to the guidance of the UAE’s wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler Dubai.
He said: “The participation of FAHR in the campaign "Trahmou" comes as part of its societal responsibility, and through a firm belief that its strategic goals can only be achieved through effectively taking part in humanitarian activities, being an integral part of the vision and mission of FAHR”.
FAHR employees and partners participated in the campaign enthusiastically, offering donations through the campaign bank account numbers, well aware of the importance of collective participation for the success of this type of campaign, and of their duty to support the government in carrying out this noble humanitarian mission.
