The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has launched a national photo competition entitled "I Love My Homeland" on social networking sites Twitter and Instagram@fahr_uae, as part of the 43rd UAE National Day celebrations.
Mr. Mahmoud Al Marzouki, Director of Government Communications at FAHR said that the competition is about receiving images captured by UAE citizens and residents via FAHR’s social networking pages, to commemorate the celebration of the National Day, and to reflect the national feeling of people and their relationship with the leadership.
Marzouki said: “The competition reflects the keenness of FAHR to participate in milestone national occasions, which is an integral part of its vision and mission, and the best way to translate its strategic objectives into reality”. He pointed out that the Homeland Love Contest is dedicated to the UAE’s leadership for their care and commitment to achieve prosperity and well-being for both citizens and residents.
He concluded that FAHR is already receiving pictures and posts on its social networking accounts, explaining that the contest will be closed on December 2, 2014, and all entries will be assessed by a specialized committee to choose the best in terms of idea and quality.
“FAHR will announce the winners via Twitter and Instagram, and present them with valuable prizes”, he said.
On this occasion, Marzouki expressed his deepest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, wishing them happiness, health and prosperity.
