45 thousand visitors to the Authority’s Smart App (FAHR) in 1 month

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), explained that it new smart application (FAHR), launched last month in GETIX, has received significant interaction and large turnout from the Federal Government employees during the past period. The app has seen 45,000 visitors during the first month of its launch, the Ministry of Health topping the list with 27,000 visits, followed by FAHR, Ministry of Labor and Ministry of Education.

In this regard, Klaitham Al Shamsi, Director of Human Resource Management Information System estimated the number of users who visited App (FAHR) by nearly 2,500 from the Federal Government, again with the Ministry of Health registering the largest number of users (1,600).

She said: “18% of self-service transactions through Human Resources Management Information System "BAYANATI", have been executed using the Authority’s Smart App (FAHR), or 1600 smart transactions out of 8700. The self-service unit in "BAYANATI" System enables the federal government employees to perform all HR transactions electronically, and access all their personal data and information”.

She explained that more than 32,000 BAYANATI transactions were completed using the smart  application within one month, 20,000 of them in the ministries and 12,000 in the independent federal entities, the Ministry of Health being in the first place with 7,500 transactions.

With regard to other activities of initiatives introduced by the Authority, Klaitham Al Shamsi said that the federal government employees have shared 400 “Maqassert” e-Cards, using the smart app until the beginning of November, including 110 by employees of Federal Authority for Government Human Resources. “Maqassert” is an electronic card exchanged by the staff of the federal government using smart app, to express appreciation of each others’ efforts and achievements through the smart application. Employees receiving the largest number of e-cards are honored at the end of each month, at the federal government level.

The Director of Human Resource Management Information System added that the new smart app. offers a package of HR systems, services and sub-services at the Federal Government level, mainly the HR Management Information System (BAYANATI), the Federal Government training partners’ initiative Ma’aref”, ‘Imtyazat’ initiative, legal consultation requests and employee network.

She said: “The new app includes 26 smart services that enable federal government employees to conduct their own transactions related to human resources and access all the information and data with greater ease and speed. Moreover, it will allow employees of ministries and federal bodies to apply for, cancel or track leaves; request permissions to leave the workplace; browse and update personal data; check on monthly salary details, produce salary and to Whom It May Concern certificates, in addition to the opportunity of reviewing centers assigned to provide medical insurance, and completing different phases of the Employee Performance Management System”.

One of the vital services offered through the smart application, according to Al Shamsi, is the legal consultation that allows the federal government employees to review the human resource laws and regulations, as well as request legal advice from the Authority’s Legal Consulting Team.

Ma’aref

The Government Knowledge Portal Ma’aref”, another strategic project launched by FAHR recently, will also be linked to the new smart application, so that employees can access, the training programs offered by training providers accredited under the Portal, and add them to their  list of ‘favorites’. The smart application has an alert system reminding employees of the dates and venues of sessions.

Imtyazat

The list of smart app services also includes “Imtyazat” e-Service, a yet another strategic initiatives of the Authority, whereby special discounts are offered to the Federal Government employees. They can view a list of enterprises offering reduced rates within the initiative and identify the locations of these entities using a interactive maps
