How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

"Etiquette & Protocol Skills" Course organized

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has concluded a free training course for the staff of ministries and federal entities on "Etiquette & Protocol Skills", as part of the initiative “Ma’aref" Initiative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners, launched by the FAHR in 2013. The initiative aims to compile a list of the best training providers UAE-wide and make it available to ministries and federal bodies to take advantage of the training programs offered by these partners at competitive prices.

The training course, which was held at the headquarters of FAHR in Abu Dhabi, in cooperation with the Emirates European Centre for Human Development, focused on acquainting the participants with and the importance of etiquette rules in dealing with others, how to apply the art of etiquette in events, cremonies and receptions, the mechanism employed in dealing with different types of people, as well as how to identify the conditions to be met by those involved in etiquette.

It covered a number of topics, including: an introduction to the international protocol, the most important rules governing the art and etiquette of ceremonies, the art of etiquette in reception, farewell and banquets, as well as   greeting guests, and skills of listening to others and communicating with them.
Participants were made aware of the relationship between protocol and  etiquette, types of international courtesies, with examples such as thanks and  congratulation telegrams, principles to be observed in formal meeting,  visiting cards protocol, official titles of VIPs, as well as the protocol for conferences and meetings, and rules for flying flags half-mast.
