The agenda of the Federal Authority
for Government Human Resources in February 2022 featured 18 innovative events
and initiatives targeting employees of ministries and federal entities, as well
as HR specialists and those interested in human resources issues and
innovation, bringing the number of attendees to over 3600 people.
The Authority celebrated the national event UAE Innovates 2022 month, and
achieved several objectives, e.g. consolidating the culture of government
innovation and increasing community participation in developing future
initiatives to create radical changes in the UAE's journey of development
towards the next
fifty years, with the participation of federal and local government
agencies, the private sector and academic institutions.
The Authority's
activities varied between training workshops, brainstorming sessions, and
virtual knowledge forums targeting the Federal Government employees and the
public, in addition to launching a set of innovative government human resources
initiatives, and organizing many events and training workshops, in cooperation
with 10 government and private sectors entities.
Of these, two new initiatives were
launched at the Federal Government level: The Job Interview Platform using
Artificial intelligence technology "Forsa", in Arabic language, and
another to develop HR officials in the Federal Government.
As the UAE leadership sees innovation
as a valuable asset for the future, the Authority is working to consolidate it
in the institutional work environment, as a work routine and daily practice, by
introducing strategic initiatives that serve innovation and highlight its
concepts."
