The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced that during the first quarter of this year, 40 training workshops were held, targeting employees of the federal ministries and entities, on HR policies and legislation applied at the Federal Government level, as well as HR systems functioning under the umbrella of Human Resources Management Information System in the Federal Government (BAYANATI).
In this regard, HE Laila Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs & Human Resources Planning, said that the Authority held 40 training workshops during the first quarter 2019, targeting all ministries and federal bodies operating BAYANATI System and related human resources systems.
She said: “These workshops held by the Authority in its headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai are based on Human Resources Strategy in the Federal Government 2017-2021 and are in line with the Authority's policy aimed at the continuous development of HR electronic systems in the Federal Government. They also come as part of the Authority’s keenness to maintain effective and efficient use of these systems by employees and human resources officials in the ministries and federal entities operating BAYANATI System".
She stressed the importance of proper and effective implementation of the electronic systems operating through BAYANATI System, and linked to indicators of HR enablers indicators, and the UAE HR Award in the Federal Government. These systems, she said, would contribute to strengthening the institutional work system in the Federal Government, and increase government efficiency in ministries and federal bodies, thus improving their human resources results.
“The workshops focused on the following electronic systems: Manpower Strategic Planning, Job Evaluation and Description, Statistics and Smart Reporting, Performance Management for Federal Government employees, Training & Development, and the Federal Government’s Preferred Training Partners Initiative (Ma’arif), she said.

They also include a workshop on the mechanism for measuring and development of HR procedures and practices in the Federal Government, and another workshop to train employees of ministries and federal entities on using HR manuals issued by the Authority.
