HE Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul Al Manan Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), participated in the 109th Ordinary Session of the Executive Council of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development (ARADO), which was held recently in Cairo in the presence of Ministers and Heads of Civil Service and Administrative Development in the Member States.
The meeting reviewed and discussed the topics on its agenda, including the report on the follow-up to the implementation of previous decisions and recommendations of the Executive Board. The report addressed ARADO’s achievements in 2018 and the programs implemented in the areas of training, conferences, professional meetings, seminars, workshops, training programs and successful management practices, including the implementation of 589 training programs (administrative, financial, information technology, digital libraries and others).
In the field of activities, 83 events were implemented including conferences, forums and symposiums, benefiting about 640 participants. The organization also published a number of books, researches and studies dealing with general issues in the field of administrative development, including 21 doctoral dissertations under distinguished doctoral dissertations series.
The UAE’s representation in ARADO meeting, included, along with HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar, HE Ibrahim Ahmed Fikri, Executive Director of Support Services, and Abdulkarim Al-Asmawi, Director of Organizations and International Relations Office at the Authority.
