Under instructions issued by the UAE Cabinet, all ministries and federal entities will be given a holiday on Thursday, September 21, 2017 to mark the Islamic New Year 1439 AH, to resume normal working hours on Sunday 24.
The decision was based on the executive regulations of Human Resources Law in the Federal Government and amendments thereof.
On this occasion, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources offered sincere congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice - President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates, wishing their highnesses happiness, health and prosperity. Congratulations were also extended to the people of the UAE and the Arab and Islamic countries.
