It has been decided that the Islamic New Year’s holiday 1441 for the Federal Government employees will fall on the first day of Muharram (and corresponding Gregorian date.)
The announcement was made through a circular issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), based on the Council of Minister’s Resolution No. 37 of 2019, amending some provisions of the Council of Minister’s Resolution No. 27 of 2019, on public holidays in the UAE.
On this occasion, the Authority would like to extended its highest congratulations to His Highness President Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of Emirates, wishing them happiness, health and prosperity.
Congratulations were also extended to the people of the UAE and the Arab and Islamic countries on this blessed occasion.
