The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), in cooperation with Al-Jalila Foundation, recently launched a charity campaign under “Sandhom Amanah” community initiative, to cover treatment expenses of a 3-month-old infant with kidney disorder, in addition to a severe growth hormone deficiency. The infant needs monthly treatment for approximately AED 20,000.
Hanan Mohammed bin Nesaif, Deputy Director of Government Communications at the Authority, said that this campaign comes as part of the cooperation between the Authority and Al-Jalila Foundation to launch and implement charitable initiatives aimed at providing the expenses of treating needy patients.
“The Authority has implemented a number of social and humanitarian initiatives during the current year in response to the declaration of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, naming 2019 as Year of Tolerance,” she noted.
Hanan bin Nesaif added: “The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has publicized the campaign at the federal government level to allow the opportunity for the largest number of employees of the ministries and federal entities to participate in community work and charitable giving through their various social networking accounts or via BAYANATI.
She called on community groups to contribute to the campaign and donate AED 10, AED 50, or AED 100 by sending the word ‘Sanad’ in an SMS, via Etisalat and du, to numbers 4202, 4206, or 4209 respectively.
Through its community-based initiatives, the Authority seeks to maximize the benefits both within and outside the country, consolidate the values of volunteering and philanthropy, foster a spirit of social responsibility, and deepen the values of loyalty and functional happiness by volunteering.
