FAHR recently received a delegation from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, visiting the Authority to closely look into the best practices applied in the field of human resources internally and at the level of the Federal Government, such as Training & Development System, electronic Performance Management, Competency Framework, Productivity Measurement and other online HR systems.
The delegation was welcomed by Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources Policy Sector, who affirmed the Authority’s readiness to provide full support to the Directorate, stressing the importance of sharing knowledge and best practices among the various federal and local institutions within the UAE.
The visit comes in line with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between FAHR and Dubai Military Human Resources, which represents military departments in the emirate. The visit was aimed at strengthening partnership in the field of developing human resource processes and systems, exchanging experiences and global best practices, as well as related programs and applications.
The delegation included Lt. Col. Yasser Rashid Al Khanboli, Director of Training and Performance Development, Captain Ahmad Abdullah Al Marri, Director of Human Resources Department, Major Othman Ahmed Al Marzouqi, Head of Training Strategy and Planning, and Lt. Talal Hussein Al Awadi, Head of Human Resources Planning.
The delegation was also received, besides Aisha Al Suwaidi, by Zayed Al Baadani, Director of Performance Evaluation and Follow-up, Lulwa Al Marzouki, Director of Human Resources Planning, Fatima Al Jasmi, Acting Head of Performance Management, and Nora Jassim, Head of Performance Indicators and Monitoring.
