The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), recently launched a guide to human resource table of powers and responsibilities in the Federal Government, prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Government's HR Law and its executive regulations, and the decisions based thereon.
Hamad Buamim, Director of Policies and Legal Affairs Department at the Authority, explained that the Authority has prepared the guide to the table of HR powers and responsibilities in the Federal Government, to be an important reference for all ministries and federal entities when preparing their own guidelines in in human resources affairs.
He said: “The guide comes as part of a series of creative initiatives and relentless efforts made by the Authority to develop the institutional work system at the Federal Government level, and enable HR departments in ministries and federal bodies to carry out the tasks assigned to them according to specific mechanisms, in a manner that ensures strengthening the role of government human resources, thus achieving the strategic goals of the federal entities.”
Buamim added that the Authority recently held 3 virtual induction workshops, followed by more than 225 Federal Government employees and human resources officials in ministries and federal entities, to shed light on the guide. The workshops discussed all aspects related to delegating powers and responsibilities in accordance with approved legislation, as well as the items contained in the guide.
He said that the Authority has made available the guide to the table of HR powers and responsibilities in the Federal Government on its website www.fahr.gov.ae; to enable all federal institutions to have access to it, and to benefit from it in organizing their human resources affairs.
