How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) reviews FAHR’s HR best practices

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently received a delegation from the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) to have a close look at the Authority’s experiences in the field of the federal government human capital development, ways to increase the pace towards achieving the smart government.

The delegation was received by HE Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources Policies Sector, Hamad Bu Amim, Director of Policies and Legal Affairs, Zayed Al Qahtani, Director of Performance Appraisal & Follow-up, and a number of department heads and employees.

At the beginning of the meeting, Aisha Al Suwaidi welcomed the delegation, stressing the keenness of the Authority to share its experiences and successful practices in the management of the federal human capital with all counterpart governmental and private institutions in the countries of the region and the world. She praised the utmost care and support accorded by the UAE’s wise leadership to empowering national talent, especially young people, and qualifying them to lead the government in various fields.

She spoke about the Authority's experience with regard to the implementation of HR Service Accelerators (Service Level Agreement), stressing the importance of the project with tremendous strategic dimensions to the federal entities, as it improves the human resources services they provide, and contributes to realizing the aspirations of the State towards global leadership and excellence.

Aisha Al Suwaidi added: “The Authority launched earlier this year the Guide to Human Resource Solutions Accelerators (GHRSA) as part of its efforts to develop the institutional work system in the federal government, speed up the work in ministries and federal agencies and improve the quality of services provided to its internal and external customers alike.

“The GHRSA aims to help the ministries and federal bodies with the preparation and implementation of service level agreements (SLAs) that help instil a culture of excellence in services to customers satisfaction.  SLAs are agreements that are negotiated and coordinated between the human resources department at a ministry or entity as a service provider on the one hand, and recipients of such services, including departments, employees and customers on the other. It aims at clarifying and detailing the expectations of human resources services in terms of quality and time frames.”

Executive Director of Human Resources Policies, underlined the importance of service level agreements for human resources departments, service recipients, ministries and federal entities in general. At the level of human resources departments, these agreements focus the effort of these departments on strategic aspects, as well as meeting day-to-day operational requirements efficiently, assisting in the identification of relevant human resources procedures and services provided by the department, clarifying the roles and responsibilities of the department, and providing a performance monitoring mechanism with continuous improvement.

The Saudi Electricity Company's delegation was also briefed on the functioning of the Federal Government’s HR Management Information System BAYANATI", as well as the mechanisms of providing human resources services, human resources enablers indicators in the Federal Government according to the Balanced Scorecard, and a number of innovative human resources systems and initiatives in the region.

The delegation consisted of Abdul Hakim Al Baridi, Director of Service Level Agreements, Bashir Bahjat, Service Level Agreements Expert, Abdul Rahman Al Qudibi, Service Level Agreements Analyst, and Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Service Level Agreements Analyst.
