The UAE government participated in the meeting of the Executive Council of the Arab Administrative Development Organization in its 116th ordinary session, which was held recently in the Kingdom of Morocco. During the meeting, the members discussed the most prominent issues and solutions related to the development of government human capital in the Arab world, and exchanged the best experiences and practices in the field of human resources management and empowerment for the member states.
The UAE government delegation was headed by Her Excellency Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), with the participation of His Excellency Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector at FAHR, and Mr. Abdul Karim Al Asmawi, Director of the Office of Organizations and International Relations.
The participants discussed several topics on the agenda, including: Following up on the implementation of previous decisions of the Executive Council, reviewing the achievements and results of implementing the organization’s strategic plan, and reviewing the organization’s information technology system.
The UAE has led some strategic initiatives emanating from the Organization’s plan, such as the Arab Government Administration Forum, the Arab Government Excellence Award, and the Future Government Leaders Programme.
