How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. FAHR restructures HR Club Advisory Council

Sunday September 30, 2018

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced the restructuring of the Advisory Council of the Human Resources Club, one of FAHR’s key strategic initiatives launched to develop and empower human capital.

The Council, which was formed in 2013, is headed by Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul-Manan Al-Awar, the Authority’s Director General, and includes 9 members representing local government and private institutions, as well as international organizations specialized in the field of human resources.

HE Laila Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs & HR Planning, explained that the HR Club has achieved remarkable success over the past years. It held about 45 meetings attended by more than 7,500 people specialized or interested in human resources across the country.

Laila Al Suwaidi said: “During the first meeting, the new council discussed several issues that would improve the Club’s performance in the next stage, expand membership base, use the latest presentation technologies in promoting the Club’s mission, attract influential international speakers ion human resources topics and public administration, and discuss ways to develop membership”.

She added that the participants stressed the importance of putting forward new topics through the HR Club forums, in line with the latest international developments in human capital development, public administration and support services. She noted that, in response to the UAE Government's directives regarding holding Club forums in all emirates, specialized forums were held in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Um Al Quwain this year, and preparations are under way for a number of seminars in the rest of the UAE.

HE explained that the HR Club offers its membership, which has grown to over 12 thousand, an ideal opportunity to learn about the best practices, experiences and success stories of many individuals and institutions, as well as networking with specialists and practitioners all over the world.

“The Authority is seeking to adopt a new vision for the development of the HR Club and to expand the base of its beneficiaries beyond human resource professionals, to include support services sectors, and all employees working for these sectors, such as personnel, finance, IT, procurement, etc.”, she noted.

Executive Director of Programs & HR Planning confirmed that the HR Club is one of the most important interactive platforms that brings together interested people, human resources specialists and experts under one roof to share ideas, experiences and solutions that could enhance the roles assigned to human resources departments and other institutional service bodies across different sectors in the country.

She concluded by saying that membership of the Club is open and free for all those interested in human resources and institutional support, etc. Application should be through website: www.fahr.gov.ae, and e-mail: HRClub@fahr.gov.ae
