The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) marked the Emirati Women's Day, which is celebrated annually on 28th of August every year. On this occasion, they organized a gathering for their female employees and share giveaways to them. The event was attended by Her Excellency Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, the Acting Director General, as well as FAHR’s senior officials and female employees.
H.E. Laila Al Suwaidi said during her remarks at the event that "Emirati Women's Day is an occasion where we honor the efforts of Emirati women over the past 50 years and more. They have proven themselves capable of accomplishing successes and safeguarding the nation's achievements by playing a crucial role in a variety of fields”.
She stressed how important women have been and are to the UAE's history and current development renaissance. The wise leadership pays close attention to their issues, and seeks to empower them in all spheres and fields. She also commended the contribution of FAHR's female staff to attaining its strategic objectives over the previous years and enhancing its directions drawn from the goals of the UAE, as well as the visions and aspirations of its wise leadership, all the way to the "We the UAE 2031" vision.
During the event, there was an exchange of ideas and creative suggestions regarding the development of fresh initiatives aimed at boosting the role of women within an attractive and joyful workplace. These initiatives are made to help women strike the proper balance between their social and professional obligations, giving them every reason to feel secure and comfort.
