How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Smart App. (FAHR) as a new channel for nomination of Federal Government employees for rewards & incentives

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced that it has recently provided a new service for nomination of employees of ministries and federal bodies to compete for f awards under the federal government’s electronic Rewards & Incentives System operated through Smart Application (FAHR).

HE Laila Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs and Human Resources Planning, explained that by using smart application (FAHR), line managers will be able to nominate their distinguished employees electronically to take advantage of Rewards & Incentives System. She added that the application also allows individual employees to nominate a colleague or even himself under the system, presenting accomplishment of tasks and responsibilities that prove eligibility to recognition.

Laila Al Suwaidi said: “The Authority has added to the updated version of Smart Application (FAHR), launched earlier this year, a login feature using finder print and face recognition, in addition to improvements to alerts that have been classified into alerts requiring action by users and others for information only”.

She revealed that Smart Application (FAHR) includes several key and sub-services for the Federal Government employees, assist them in completing their own HR procedures, and enable training providers in the UAE to join “Ma’arif" initiative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners, and private sector companies to join the Federal Government employees’ discount program "Imtyazat".

Further explaining the services provided by the Smart App., Executive Director of Programs and HR Planning said: ”The application offers a range of services to all of the Authority’s customers and the public  including: displaying vacant posts available in the Federal Government, facilitating search, and accessing the vacancies that have been applied for. It also enables users to request legal advice, file objections, view  Frequently Asked Questions, as well as inquire about HR policies, systems and laws applied at the Federal Government level. Users can make advantage of the application to request technical support to assist ministries and federal entities in the implementation of various human resources procedures, register as service providers in the "Imtyazat" program, apply to join Ma’arif initiative, and communicate with the Authority to review future events”.

She explained that App. (FAHR) allows federal government employees and officials to register for participation in training courses and programs through the electronic training and development system, provide dashboards for employees and line managers, view leave balances and non-transferable days according to HR Law, request for leave and track approval process, and request To Whom it May Concern Letter.

According to Laila Al Suwaidi, the updated version of the application also enables employees of ministries and federal bodies to review their monthly salary details, extract salary certificate, update employee personal data, legal advice enquiry, apply to Federal Objections Committee, and take advantage of discounts offered under Imtyazat program to Federal Government employees.

Finalizing all phases of Performance Management System

Shaema Al Awadhi, Director of Human Resources Information System said: ““App (FAHR) also allows the completion of employee evaluation under Performance Management System by the employee himself or by the  direct supervisor, in addition to the possibility of accessing the details of the employee's previous performance documents, enabling the  employees to delete and modify their personal goals and share them with the direct supervisor, and send the electronic ‘’Maqassert’ (thank you) card to the employees of ministries and federal agencies, in the form of one group.

“In addition, Smart Application (FAHR) provides a smart dashboard for use by employees of ministries and federal entities, including a number of indicators, the most important of which include total leave balances, number of certificates requested and issued, approved leaves, number of rewards and incentives, annual performance rating, number of Maqassert e-Cards shared between employees, expired documents, years of service, and the percentage of Smart App usage compared to that of self-service system in BAYANATI the system”.

She concluded her explanation by revealing that senior officials’ dashboard provides accurate measurement of absence from work, the number of pending leave applications, time and attendance tracking, number of training requests, the percentage of completion of the annual evaluation stages, number of employees who completed their individual development plans, and the average employee training hours, number of employees on probation, number of Federal Government employees honoured under Rewards and Incentives System, and percentage of employees whose data has been completed in BAYANATI system
