The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), has recently launched a campaign in Dubai, to provide its employees with free medical examinations, in cooperation with Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Al Dalil Medical Evidence Center in Sharjah.
During the campaign, health products and bulletins, as well as special discounts vouchers from the participating clinics, were distributed to the employees. Representatives of these clinics conducted free medical examinations for the employees such as: checking blood sugar, blood pressure, body mass, cholesterol level, teeth and skin, and others.
Ali Ahly, Director of Human Resources and Services Department at the Authority, said: “This event comes as part of a series of campaigns, awareness programs and activities organized by the Authority periodically for its employees under Employee Wellness Program launched in 2014, which consists of four initiatives, each including a range of activities and projects: health initiatives, occupational safety initiatives, green environment initiatives and social initiatives.”
He added that Employee Wellness Program reflects the Authority’s keenness to improve the work environment and motivate employees to give their best, so as to achieve job satisfaction, harmony and institutional loyalty within the entities, the Authority and the Federal Government at large, as well as help realize the wise leadership’s vision and aspirations...
Ali Ahly concluded: “The campaign is primarily aimed at at ensuring the health of employees, raising their health awareness, encouraging them to make regular check-ups, take preventive measures against common diseases, especially diabetes and obesity.
