How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. FAHR releases the 13th Issue of HR Echo Magazine

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has released the 13th edition of the specialized HR Echo Magazine, which is published semi-annually, in Arabic and English, in partnership with internationally recognized universities and organizations specialized in human resources.

In this regard, HE Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of HR Policies Sector at FAHR, said that Echo Magazine appears this year in an exceptional  issue, under exceptional circumstances imposed by Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, which has been sweeping the world since the beginning of 2020.

“It seems that the epidemic’s repercussions will continue for many years, on all walks of life, and various business sectors”, she said “COVID-19 imposed the biggest challenges to HR policy makers and for all those concerned with   human capital development worldwide.”

“After the world was trying to cope with the changes of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the main concern now is how to adapt to Coronavirus’s impact on governments, organizations and companies, and prepare for any similar unexpected risks in the future.”

She added: "There is no doubt that the UAE Federal Government’s experience in particular, will draw the attention of those involved in human resources development. They will appreciate the efficient way in dealing with the crisis, the pursuit of business continuity and the provision of services, as well as the good preparation and the use of the latest technologies in recent years.”

HE Aisha Al Suwaidi said that this issue of HR Echo highlights a range of issues and topics, practical experiences, lessons drawn from this critical phase, and future insights on institutional work and human capital development, in collaboration with a number of the Authority’s global partners: academic and human resource institutions, The issue also highlights a study on the future of human resource departments, their central role in responding to phase requirements and the formation of workforce, preparation for future jobs and avail itself of the technological development and artificial intelligence to the fullest, and the effects of the latter on the nature of jobs.

Other topics focused on future human resource trends as departments and task forces, the stages of their development and the impact of the pandemic on their roles, to become strategic in the design of programs and policies, and ways to redesign the institution to work quickly, flexibly and gracefully post the pandemic. It also included a study on remote work and it opportunities and challenges, which covered the Middle East and North Africa.

One of the key issues tackled in this issue of HR Echo, the importance of  digital transformation after COVID-19, the factors of its success, the impact of the pandemic on the way governments work to improve their structures, innovation, speed in decision-making, as well as how to discover new work methods and adapt to change.

Aisha Al Suwaidi concluded saying that HR Echo Magazine has become an ideal platform and an important window to highlight all local, regional and global issues related to human capital development. She praised the progress achieved by the Magazine today, as one of the outstanding specialized human resource publications in terms of reader base and capability to attract the attention of HR professionals, leading organizations and educational institutions.
