How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

FAHR holds the annual employees meeting

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) stressed that the UAE Government, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has made tremendous achievements in various fields. “These accomplishments and successes have had the greatest impact in enhancing the efficiency of the UAE Government, to place it as one of the world's most dynamic governments in a relatively short period of time”, he said.

In his speech at the annual meeting of the Authority's staff, recently held in Dubai, HE praised the relentless efforts being made by the employees to enhance the Authority’s role and position at the Federal Government level, achieve its vision and strategic objectives, and contribute to improving the system of government. He lauded the efforts of the staff which led to the Authority to winning Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award in its fifth edition as the Best Entity in Enablers, which he said is the result of a good teamwork to achieve a common goal.

Recognition

During the meeting, HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar honored a group of employees of the Authority who emerged winners under Rewards & Incentives Program for the Federal Government employees, as well as the winning departments and teams, and those who presented useful and constructive suggestions and distinguished employees with more than 20 years of service in the Authority and the Federal Government.

HE Laila Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs and Human Resources Planning Sector, reviewed the most important initiatives of the sector to be implemented during 2019. These included: Automating the Government Skills Bank Project and Succession Planning Project; launching the Digital Federal HR Strategy, Smart Reporting System and Continuing Learning Strategy for the Federal Government employees. The plan also includes developing the electronic Signature and Employment systems, the electronic Rewards & Incentives System for the Federal Government employees and holding the 9th round of International HR Conference

Al Suwaidi added that the Authority will continue to implement the Federal Government’s Strategic Workforce Planning System, launch the second phase of the e-Learning Portal during the first quarter of 2019, as well as follow up the implementation of training programs under Ma’arif initiative for the Federal Government’s preferred training partners, and continue holding more HR Club forums at the state level.

The floor was given to Zayed Al Qahtani, Director of Performance Appraisal and Follow-up Department, reviewed the most important initiatives of Policies Sector during the current year, including: the draft amendment to the Human Resources Law in the Federal Government and its executive regulations; launch of the Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Award for the Best Academic Research on Human Resources, the launch of the tenth & eleventh issues of HR Echo Magazine, which is published Semi-annually in Arabic and English, in addition to preparing a series of human resources studies such as alternative work options.

HE Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of Support Services, spoke about the most important achievements and plans of Support Services Sector which comprises of departments of Human Resources, Services, Information Technology and Finance. He also reviewed the Authority's budget for 2019 allocated according to the organizational items and units.

Mahmoud Al Marzouqi, Director of Government Communications, spoke about the achievements of his department in 2018, especially with regard to the Federal Government employees’ discount program "Imtyazat" and the Authority’s community initiatives implemented to mark the ‘Year of Zayed’, where nearly AED 750 thousand was collected. He gave a brief account of the Authority’s community and humanitarian plan in the ‘Year of Tolerance’, the innovative vision of the Imtyazat Program, and the most important components of Government Communication strategy for 2019.

Khaled Al Mazmi, Director of Strategy and Future reviewed the most important achievements of the Authority during the year 2018, including. These included launching the new executive regulations of Human Resources Law in the Federal Government; Guide to Human Resources Services Accelerators; electronic Rewards & Incentives Program; and the updated version of ‘Ask the Legal Expert’ program.

Al-Mazmi noted that in the year 2018, the Authority managed to activate the organizational structure system through the Federal Government's Human Resources Management Information System (BAYANATI), launch the Smart Reporting Platform for the Government's Human Resources Indicators in the UAE, launch a third updated version of the Smart Application (FAHR), as well as launch a second updated version of the Federal Government employees’ discount program "Imtyazat", and launch the Guide to Employee Welfare in the Federal Government.
