Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. FAHR Celebrates Emirati women’s Day

Sunday August 28, 2016

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) organized a ceremony to celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, which falls on August 28 every year. The event was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of FAHR, a number of sector and department directors and FAHR female employees.

HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar paid tribute to FAHR female employees, praising their tremendous efforts and outstanding role in reflecting the positive image of the organization in general and the Federal Government in particular.

He said: “they have set a good example of Emirati women in hard work, dedication and persistence in order to enhance the position of the UAE at all the Arab, regional and global forums, towards achieving the UAE 2021 Vision and its national agenda”..

On this occasion, FAHR launched a special internal competition involving female employees, distributed roses, and sent congratulations to all federal government employees via the Human Resources Management Information System in the federal government ‘BAYANATI’.

FAHR earlier revealed that women make up 51% of the total civil workers in the federal government under the category of basic jobs, or excluding service and assistance jobs, according to HR statistical bulletin periodically issued by the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

According to the statistical bulletin, women’s share in total promotions was 58% of the total civil service jobs of the federal government, and 48% of appointments out of 1160 during the first half of this year.

The bulletin also revealed that females working for the federal government occupy 46% of leadership and supervisory positions, nearly 73% in health sector, 69% in education, and 61% of administrative jobs, while 83 women work in the judiciary, and 277 in the diplomatic corps, a good sign of support and empowerment working women enjoy across all business sectors.
