The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has revealed that about 5550 promotions have been made among employees of 42 ministries and federal bodies operating the Federal Government's HR Management Information System (BAYANATI), from the beginning of 2017 until the end of November.
These promotions cover 90% of the total number of 63,000 employees in these entities.
In a detailed statement, HE Laila Al-Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs & HR Planning, said that 5,550 promotions have been made in the ministries and federal bodies operating BAYANATI since the beginning of 2017 until the end of November. She explained that promotions ranged between exceptional, upgrade, financial, and financial exceptional, pointing out that promotions in the Federal Government are based on the results of performance appraisal of employees according to Performance Management System, which is officially applied at the level of the Federal Government since 2012.
The upgrade was ranked first (3,340 cases) in terms of the number of employees promoted, followed by financial promotion at 1324 cases, exceptional at 754 promotions, and 96 financial exceptional.
“The number of appointments in the ministries and federal entities operating BAYANATI System in the period between the beginning of 2017 and the end of the third quarter, was 5719 appointments, 1932 of them in the first quarter, 1522 in the second quarter, and 2265 in the third quarter”, she said.
