The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), has held a ceremony in Dubai on Sunday to mark the 47th National Day of the United Arab Emirates, in the presence of HE Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Authority and a number of executive directors, department directors and employees.
During the ceremony, the Director General said: “The 47th anniversary of the founding of the Union of the United Arab Emirates is a national occasion in which we recall the achievements and sacrifices of the first generation of the Founding Fathers who believed in the importance of this Union and made every effort to lay firm foundations for the UAE. The leading position the country is occupying today in terms of progress, prosperity, and global leadership come as a result of their sincere efforts and insightful vision.
“"On this blessed occasion, we recall with gratitude the founder and builder of our renaissance, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, God rest his soul in peace, who believed firmly that the Union was the only way to turn the aspirations and hopes into reality, and dedicated himself to achieve this noble goal, along with his fellow founding rulers of the Emirates. They knew and believed that the Union of Arab Emirates was a fatal necessity and set out to complete it in utter determination, overcoming all the obstacles that stood in front of them.”.
He praised the wisdom of the wise leadership of the UAE, led by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who are closely following on the footsteps of Zayed Al-Khair, by contributing to consolidating the regional and international status of the UAE and highlighting its pioneering role in various fields and at various levels.
HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar congratulated the wise leadership represented by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces; members of the Supreme Council of the Rulers of the Emirates, and UAE nationals and residents.
