Ajman hosts the second HR Club Forum 2019

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently held the 2nd HR Club Forum in Ajman, in cooperation with Ajman Government Human Resource Department (AGHRD), and in the presence of HE Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul Mannan Al Awar, Director General of FAHR, HE Rashid Abdulrhman Bin Jubran Al-Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Government Human Resource Department, and more than 200 employees of the Federal Government, the Government of Ajman, and private sector, HR Club members.

The forum hosted Dr. Mansour Habib, Family Medicine and Occupational Health Consultant, Head of Happiness & Tolerance at Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company “du”, and HE Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO - Make a Wish Foundation. The two speakers highlighted the concept of tolerance and the central relationship between tolerance and happiness, as well as the UAE's efforts in the field of establishing and promoting tolerance locally, regionally and globally, and addressed Make a Wish Foundation’s CSR and humanitarian experience related to realizing the wishes of children suffering serious illnesses.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar: The UAE is a global model for community work, tolerance and respect for other cultures

Dr. Abdulrahman Abdul Manan Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, said that the forum is taking place in the Emirate of Ajman at the recommendation of the UAE Government meetings to expand the HR Club’s activities to cover all the emirates, in order to the benefit of HR professionals and those interested in the field.

He stressed the importance of cooperation between all parties concerned with human capital development in the UAE, whether federal or local, in order to improve the human resources systems, enhance the efficiency and productivity of human capital, and consolidate the country’s prestigious international position in this regard.

Dr Al Awar praised the efforts of Ajman Government Human Resource Department in developing government human capital in the Emirate and its keenness to strengthen cooperation with the Authority and benefit from the pioneering experience of the federal government in managing and empowering human capital through adopting various human resources systems applicable at the federal government level.

HE said: “It is very important to discuss tolerance at HR Club forum, especially as it comes in conjunction with the declaration of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, 2019 as Year of Tolerance.

“The UAE, since the era of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, has been a global role model in community work, tolerance and respect for other cultures. It never hesitated to help all those in need around the world, regardless of their race, religion and geographical background, which has strengthened the country's global position as a bridge of communication and convergence between peoples of different cultures”.

 

 

Rashid Abdulrahman Al Suwaidi:

Cooperation of UAE institutions meets the aspirations of our wise leadership

For his part, Rashid Abdulrahman Bin Jubran Al Suwaidi, Director General of Ajman Government Human Resource Department, said that the management pays great attention to enhancing mechanisms of cooperation, sharing experiences, holding strategic partnerships and integrating roles with federal and local government agencies in achieving the government's goals. All these steps, he added were made in line with the strategic plans of the Emirate, in addition to the exchange of knowledge, experience and institutional practice at all levels; in order to support human resources, implement the national agenda and advance sustainable development in the country.

HE said: “Ajman Government Human Resource Department is a strategic partner of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources in promoting and integrating the human resources system, and we hope that this partnership is maintained to meet the aspirations of the wise leadership in investing in human capital”.

According to HE Al Suwaidi, development of human resources and giving utmost priority to empowering national cadres represent most important issues in Ajman Vision 2021, and the UAE strategic vision. He stressed  the keenness of Ajman government to launch and implement initiatives that support human resources and contribute to the development and motivation of national cadres.

Hani Zubaidi: Zayed laid down the rules, foundations and principles of charitable giving and love

Hani Al-Zubaidi, CEO - Make a Wish Foundation, reviewed the main objectives of the Foundation, which aims to achieve the wishes of children aged 3-18 years, and suffer from life-threatening diseases, in order to give them strength, happiness and hope.

He explained that the efforts of the Foundation go beyond the UAE borders, e.g. in 2018, the Foundation could meet 603 wishes for children residing in the UAE, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Republic of Yemen0 He then reviewed some touching humanitarian stories of children whose wishes the Foundation met.

“The late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan, (may God have mercy on him) a global symbol of humanitarian work, laid down the foundations, principles and standards of charity, generosity and love in the UAE society, and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and his brothers Rulers of the Emirates followed suit”’, he noted.

Dr.. Mansour Habib: Tolerance and happiness are two sides of one coin

Dr. Mansour Habib, Consultant of Family Medicine and Occupational Health, President of the UAE, said that the UAE has established the principles of justice, equality, harmony, tolerance and respect for all religions, races and cultures since the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. , An approach that has been firmly guided by our wise leadership.

He pointed out that tolerance is based on a set of ethical principles and values: communication, emotional intelligence, compassion and respect, stressing that the director should be kind Compassion, tolerance and good morals, and to deal with his employees with respect and respect, which will positively affect the work environment, raise the level of career messengers among employees, and achieve the vision of the institution and its strategic objectives.

He pointed out that tolerance and happiness are two sides of the same coin. A happy person is tolerant in nature and vice versa, and there are positive stations shared between tolerance and happiness, including positive, social relations, good faith and volunteerism. Have a direct positive effect on the employees themselves and the organization in general, while hatred has negative implications for the institution, increasing the pressure on staff, and making them work in a tense and negative atmosphere.

Dr. Mansour Habib spoke about the National Program for Tolerance, adopted by the Council of Ministers in 2016, which contributes to the consolidation of the values ​​of tolerance and multiculturalism and acceptance of the other, and the rejection of discrimination, hatred and intolerance, thought and education and behavior, reviewing the seven main pillars on which are based: Islam, , Zayed's legacy, UAE ethics, international covenants, history, human instinct, common values.
