The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has recently held a series of workshops for federal ministries and entities that do not operate the Federal Government's Human Resources Management Information System (BAYANATI), to inform them of the Enterprise Service Platform (ESP) project launched by FAHR, to provide linkage of all human resources systems applied in the ministries and federal bodies with BAYANATI system, without the need for any development processes by those bodies.
Shaimaa Al Awadhi, Director of Human Resource Information System at the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, said that the project aims to enable the Authority to build a standard linking mechanism, improve the quality of services provided, manage connectivity with various entities for the exchange of data, and allows the Authority to control and monitor data exchange transactions with different entities, tracking errors as they occur. She added that ESP provides the decision makers in the Federal Government with smart and timely reports on the status of human resources in ministries and federal entities.
She said: "So far 19 federal bodies are benefiting from linking their data with BAYANATI system using the ESP, and the linking process will provide BAYANATI with essential data and information necessary for statistics to study human resources enabler indicators across the Federal Government. These indicators include information on processing of personal data and communication, as well as career, payroll, academic qualifications, performance appraisal data, and many more.
"The information obtained by BAYANATI through the Enterprise Service Platform will provide statists on human resources enabler indicators in many areas including: employee satisfaction rates, turnover rate, percentage of trainees by employment categories, percentage of employees with certificates, promotions by performance level, and percentage of employees who have individual plans to develop their performance".
For his part, Zayed Al-Qahtani, Director of Performance Appraisal and Follow-up, said that the ESP will have significant advantages to federal entities not applying BAYANATI system, as they can obtain accurate general statistics on human resources that assist them in the planning, legislation and policy making, as well as enable the Authority to follow up on their commitment to human resources procedures and indicators applicable at the federal government level.
Al-Qahtani pointed out that the Enterprise Service Platform project includes linking data with the systems of independent federal entities, as well as with that of local government, the national and reserve service and the EIDA population register, Pension Contributions system, Student Data System of the Ministry of Education, Wareed system, Ministry of Health, and the Federal Budget Management System of the Ministry of Finance.
