Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. FAHR launches the new look Employee Discount Program "Imtyazat"

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has recently launched the Discount Program for Federal Government employees "Imtyazat" in its new format. Imtyazat, which is regarded the largest initiative of its kind in the UAE, whereby the Authority signs partnerships with private sector companies to offer preferential prices for Federal Government employees and their families on goods and services provided.

By launching Imtyazat, FAHR seeks to support and motivate Federal Government employees and improve their level of job satisfaction and institutional loyalty. The initiative will have a tremendous impact on increasing and improving productivity with the ultimate goal of bringing the UAE state to become a haven for highly qualified and creative talent.

The launch ceremony of the new Imtyazat Program was held in Dubai, in the presence of Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Awar, Director General of FAHR, executive heads of Happiness and Positivity in the Federal Government, a number of government communication and HR directors and officials in ministries and federal entities, and representatives of private companies and institutions contributing to Imtyazat Program.

In his speech during the ceremony, HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar stressed that Imtyazat represents a vital initiative and key factor that significantly contributes to the efforts being made to achieve happiness, satisfaction and workplace harmony among the Federal Government employees.

HE pointed out that Imtyazat initiative has succeeded in a short period of time to impose its presence and strengthen its position as one of the largest community-based initiatives, the most important ever in the UAE, which provides services to Federal Government employees in 57 ministries and federal entities, as well as their families. FAHR entered into partnerships with private sector companies, under which the latter offers special discounts and competitive prices on services and products to Federal Government employees, their families and retirees as well.

Dr. Al Awar praised Imtyazat program saying that it embodies the keenness of FAHR to create a positive and competitive work environment conducive to productivity in the federal government, which would contribute to the achievement of the directives and aspirations of the UAE’s wise leadership, the UAE Vision 2021 and national agenda.

He said: “The Authority has launched Imtyazat program as a smart application that serves employees at all times and in all places, in move to support the wise vision of our Government towards smart transformation. Smart application Imtiyazat is highly interactive and easy to browse for Federal Government employees to review the competitive noffers provided exclusively for them by Imtyazat partners, along with interactive maps and opportunity for companies listed under the initiative to update their offers as required.

“The Authority has signed memoranda of understanding with about 200 private companies under Imtiyazat program to provide exclusive and exceptional discounts to Federal Government employees on services and goods. The work is under way to increase the number of companies joining the program, with a view to diversify businesses, and quality of their services. Private sector establishments wishing to join the Imtyazat are invited to register through our website www.fahr.gov.ae”.

He thanked all the partners of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources generally, the sponsors of Imtiyazat program, as well as all partners and those who supported Imtiyazat initiative during the past five years.

For his part, Mahmoud Al Marzouqi, Director of the Government Communications at FAHR reviewed the most prominent features of the new application and the services it provides to the Federal Government employees and Imtiyazat partners.

Al-Marzouqi shed light on key companies that joined the program including: Etihad Airways, Juma Al Majid Group, represented by Hyundai, JW Marriott Marquez Hotel in Dubai and Northern Emirates, Hilton Hotel, Sheraton Hotel & Resorts, Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, and Coral Island.

Memoranda of Understanding

On the side-lines of Imtiyazat launch ceremony, the Director General, HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, signed two memoranda of understanding on behalf of the Authority with the program sponsors, Etisalat, represented by Abdullah Al Ahmad, Senior Vice President – Government Sales, and Commercial Bank of Dubai, represented by Fahd Al Muhairi, General Manager of Attijari Al Islami, CBD.

"Etisalat has a long history of joint initiatives and close co-operation with the public sector in various fields. We are delighted to be part of this strong relationship to provide the federal ministries and entities in the country an exclusive package of valuable features and benefits from one of the best and fastest mobile networks in the region," said Abdullah Al Ahmad, Senior Vice President- Government Sales, Etisalat.

He added: "Sponsoring Imtiyazat initiative confirms the role of Etisalat in relation to public institutions and represents another value added to our social responsibility towards the ministries and federal agencies that deserve all the support and appreciation for their relentless efforts to place our country in a leading position at all levels.”

Mr. Fahad Al Muhairi, General Manager of Attijari Al Islami, CBD,  said: "This partnership with the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources is another step towards ensuring our commitment to the satisfaction and happiness of our customers.
