The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently held the Second Forum for the Human Resource Club in 2016, titled "Innovative Solutions to Address Institutional Challenges", under the patronage of HE Hussain Ibrahim Al Hammadi, Minister of Education and Chairman of FAHR and partnership with Linkedin . The event which was held in Dubai, under the auspices of Emirates Islamic, hosted Dr. Fred Kaufman, Vice President of Leadership and Organizational Development at Linkedin.

In his presentation to the forum, Kofman focused on a range of issues, mainly success factors at work, stressing on the importance of proper planning.
He said: “Plan your work effectively and avoid excuses and blaming others for setbacks. Be part of the problem faced and try to solve it. You can asks yourself questions that help you better understand a challenge, and whether it is possible to do something about this challenge or problem, and if you are prepared to confront them right away?”.
He stressed that an employee in particular must be producer than actor in organizing organization his life, considering any issue from several angles to find a solution, and accepting the challenge and taking responsibility.
“A true leader is the one who works silently, attributes the achievement to everyone and inspires others and not call them to follow his suit”, he noted.
HE explained that achievement of corporate goals is by working as a team, towards the ultimate goal, stressing that the role of individuals in the organization is not achieving their own objectives or departmental objectives, but realizing the vision of the organization, and therefore vision and objectives of the state at large. .
