How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

FAHR launches a package of innovative initiatives and projects

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) praised the quantitative leap achieved by the UAE at various levels and in all fields, especially in the area of providing innovative and smart services to customers. The statement noted that these achievements provide evidence to the support, attention and care given by the UAE’s wise leadership to this important aspect, citing the declaration of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan 2015 a year of innovation, which was followed by the announcement of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to allocate a national Emirati week for innovation, in recognition to innovation and innovators and their achievements, and to promote a culture of innovation in all institutions and sectors.

Fatima Al-Houti, Director of Strategy & Future Department in the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources confirmed that the UAE has become has become a preferred destination for talent, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world, where they can find an environment to flourish and translate their ideas and ambitions into reality,.

“The innovation week testifies the great strides made by the United Arab Emirates and the efforts to support innovation and creativity in various business sectors, which would contribute in realizing the aspirations of the wise leadership, and UAE Vision 2021”, she noted.

Innovative events and activities

Fatima Al-Houti explained that the agenda of activities to be carried out by FAHR during the Emirates innovation week include of devise internal events, and the launch of a package of innovative initiatives and projects, in addition to workshops and competitions for staff to familiarize them with the concept and importance of innovation in the development of work systems of institutions and upgrading the quality of services offered to customers.

She explained that the Authority has allocated a special portal for innovation on its website to launch “My Innovation” contest in which all FAHR employees, partners, customers, as well as employees of other federal authorities can provide innovative proposals that contribute to the development of human resources initiatives and systems in the Federal Government. The winners will be honored for their proposals which focus on three objectives: development of services provided by the Authority, customer satisfaction and happiness, and strengthening partnership between the public and private sectors.

The Director of Strategy & Future Department said: “The events also include organizing a specialized workshop on the future of human resources, the needs of the workforce and their aspirations by 2030. another workshop addresses the the growing role of robots in organizations, and how organizations can take advantage of this advanced technology and to serve strategic objectives, in addition to a special presentation on training simulation highlighting the latest technology used for training, such as virtual training.

“The innovation week to be organized by FAHR will see the opening of several events such as ‘Happiness Corner’, ‘Happy Hour Session’, as well as two reading sessions, the first titled "invent the future", and the second under the title ‘Reading for pleasure and knowledge’, in cooperation with the National Geographic Channel.”
