HE Dr. Ahmed bin Abdullah Humaid Balhoul Al-Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), affirmed that the UAE government under the leadership and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has become a model in terms of the development of government excellence system, and keeping abreast of the rapid global changes in various fields. These efforts, according to HE, have led to steady progress towards shaping the future, and will ultimately contribute to realizing the aspirations of our leadership to achieve global competitiveness to the UAE as one of the world’s highest ranking countries.
HE said: “The UAE places the development of government human resources at the top of its priorities and is taking all possible measures toward empowering all workers and achieving their happiness and well-being, driven by a firm belief that the national human capital is the true wealth and the country's most valuable asset that should be maintained.
HE Dr Al Falasi was speaking at the ceremony held by the Authority in Dubai to mark the Authority’s winning of Mohamed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award. Attending the event were HE Dr Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of FAHR, HE Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources Policies Sector, and HE Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Programs & Human Resources Policies Sector, Ibrahim Fikri, Executive Director of Support Services Sector, a number of sector and department directors, employees of the Authority and local media representatives.
“The Authority's success in winning at the fifth edition of Mohammed bin Rashid in Government Excellence Award as the best federal entity in Enablers category is the result of efforts of dedicated employees who deserved this victory. We highly value their dedication and perseverance, hoping that it will be an incentive for more achievements in the name of our beloved homeland", he said
He pointed out that the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has been playing a pivotal role for many years in developing human capital in the Federal Government, and setting human resources policies, legislation and systems to ensure keenness to pursue these achievements, applying the best international experiences and practices in this field. He confirmed the Authority’s commitment to implement the Federal Government’s human resources strategy and to launch more initiatives and vital projects at the level of the Federal Government, which contribute to realization of the visions and directions of the country in relation to federal human capital.
