The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently concluded a free training course entitled "High- Impact Leadership", targeting a number of employees working in the ministries and federal entities. The course is part of the free training courses offered by FAHR under “Ma’aref" initiative launched in collaboration with the Federal Government’s preferred training partners, in 2013, as one of FAHR’s strategic and a first of its kind initiatives which aims to compile a list of the best training providers UAE-wide and make it available to ministries and federal bodies advantage of the training programs offered by these partners at reduced rates.
The aim of the course organized by FAHR at its headquarters in Dubai, in collaboration with the House of Expertise Int. Management Consultancy (HEIMC), was to introduce participants to the concept of high- impact leadership, and the role of the professional leader in pursuit of excellence, requirements to be a leader, the importance of communication in promoting high-impact leadership, and modern trends in leadership development.
Participants were acquainted with the role of high-impact leadership in creating and maintaining a high-talent, high-energy and high-performance team, characteristics of charismatic leadership, in addition to behavioral and psychological skills necessary to make a successful leader, the importance of creativity and innovation as lifestyle of a leader, and key leadership styles.
