The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) recently received a Saudi delegation, which visited the Authority to have a close look into human resource best practices applied at the federal government level, including systems, policies, regulations and initiatives.
The delegation was briefed on several projects, including: HR Law and its executive regulations, human resource enablers, the experience of the Authority in preparing and applying Balanced Scorecards in human resources over the past years, the UAE Human Resources Award and a number of human resource manuals, to assist ministries and federal bodies in the proper implementation of HR legislation. The briefing also included the best practices in the field of information technology and mechanism of the IT department functioning.
At the beginning of the meeting, Aisha Al Suwaidi, Executive Director of Human Resources Policies Sector, welcomed the Saudi delegation, representing the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), stressing the importance of the visit for sharing expertise and experience in the field of human capital development. She confirmed the Authority’s commitment to provide support and advice to all interested institutions, especially the Saudi institutions in general, and SASO in particular.
The delegation was first received by Aisha Al Suwaidi, Zayed Al Qahtani, Director of Performance Appraisal and Follow-up, Hamad Buamim, Director of Policies and Legal Affairs, Wafa Amiri, Director of IT Department, Nora Jassim, Head of KPIs Measurement, and Zainab Al Ali, Senior Executive, KPIs.
The delegation included Ahmed Bin Moqhem Al Muqem, Director General of IT, SASO, Faiz Bin Awaid Al Anzi, Director of Human Resources Development, Haytham Adel Abu Haimd, Director of Corporate Excellence, and Turki Ibrahim Al Jasser, IT Governance Executive.
