The Federal Authority for Federal Government Human Resources (FAHR) provided sponsorship for the HR Summit and Exhibition organized by “Informa Middle East” Company which was held at Dubai World Trade Center for three days in the presence of hundreds of HR training and development experts.
In this regard, Mr. Ibrahim Fikri Director of the Department of Projects and Programs in FAHR explained that this HR summit and the accompanying exhibition is considered as one of the most important events in the region in the field of training and development of human capital and upgrading its abilities, focusing on training within the workplace and employs the latest training solutions that target the development of the work environment through concentration on the training of employees and developing their capabilities and their professional and personal skills.
He pointed out that the summit represents an ideal platform bringing together under its umbrella the most prominent exhibition experts in the field of human resources and development of human capital through training, development and empowerment. He indicated that the summit was a very good real opportunity for participants and exhibitors to share and exchange the best information, experiences and practices in this field and to be introduced to the best global trends in this regard.
Ibrahim Fikri stated that the sponsorship of FAHR to this important event issues from the solid conviction of FAHR of the importance of training in light of the globally accelerated technological developments in the information-oriented informatics world of today. It requires that federal government employees should do their best to continuously keep up with the ongoing changes, through training and capacity development and benefiting from the best international practices, experiences and expertise.
FAHR contributed effectively in the event of the HR summit and exhibition through a special pavilion showcasing its most prominent innovative and vital initiatives and projects at the federal government level, such as the smart application FAHR and the most important services provided by this application for more than 93 thousand employee at the federal government level and the whole region as well. Other examples include the services provided by the Human Resources Management Information System (HRMIS) that was developed to include the best practices of HR departments at federal ministries and entities (Bayanati) and the “Maaref” initiative for developing a list of the best preferred training service providers partners for the federal government.
