How should I use keywords?

Use keywords that are as specific as possible. For example, if you want to search about a page, use the “word page” not “a pages” “and pages” etc…

Refine search results?

If you find that your search has returned too many results you might want to consider refining your search. You can refine your search by adding other keywords to your search or by using the handy keyword tool that can filter your results to make them more accurately reflect the information you are looking for. The filters can be found to the top of your results.

The UAE participates in the meeting of the Executive Board of the Arab Administrative Development Organization

A delegation representing the United Arab Emirates Government took part in the 114th ordinary session of the Executive Board of the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO) which was held in the Moroccan capital, Rabat. During the event, the UAE delegation showcased the UAE's efforts, initiatives and partnerships aimed at advancing Arab public administration. The delegation also addressed the UAE’s efforts to prepare for hosting the second session of the Arab Public Administration Forum which tackles the topic of government digital transformation in the Arab Countries as part of the World Government Summit in February 2023.

The UAE Government delegation was headed by Her Excellency Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, Chairwoman of the Federal Authority for Government Human Recourses (FAHR). Members of the delegation included Her Excellency Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Acting Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, His Excellency Ibrahim Ahmed Fikri, CEO of the Support Services Sector and Abdul Karim Al Asmawi, Director of the Office of Organizations and International Relations. The meeting was also attended by ministers in charge of administrative development in the Arab countries, as well as several directors of Arab public administration institutes.

Her Excellency Ohood Al-Roumi delivered a speech at the meeting in which she emphasized the UAE government’s keenness to actively contribute to shaping the future of Arab public administration, building Arab government human capital, and empowering it with future skills necessary to advance the civil service sector and ensure its readiness to tackle the challenges facing the region and the world.

Furthermore, Al-Roumi discussed the proposed agenda of the second session of the Arab Public Administration Forum, which is scheduled to be organized by the UAE government as part of the World Government Summit between February 13th and 15th, 2023 in partnership with the League of Arab States and the Arab Administrative Development Organization. The event will be attended by many ministers and officials, including heads of international organizations, civil service ministers and directors, directors of Arab public administration institutes, and will focus on the issue of government digital transformation in the Arab countries and its important role in the development of Arab public administration.

The Meeting of Arab Ministers in charge of Arab civil service and administrative development will feature the launch of the second edition of the Arab Public Administration Report.

On its part, the Arab Administrative Development Organization commended the efforts of the UAE government toward organizing the first session of the Arab Public Administration Forum and the great success it witnessed. It also valued the positive partnership between the two sides toward organizing the second session of the Arab Public Administration Forum and emphasized its importance in strengthening Arab partnerships aimed at developing public administration in the Arab world.

During the meeting of the Executive Board of the Arab Administrative Development Organization, the participants discussed the updates on the implementation of the Board’s previous decisions. Furthermore, a report on the Organization's strategic plan was presented and several issues related to its upcoming work were discussed.
