The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR), recently received a delegation from Dubai Government Human Resource Department (DGHR), which was visiting the Authority to review its most prominent human resources systems, policies and initiatives applied at the Federal Government level,
During the meeting, which took place at the Authority’s headquarters in Dubai, the focus of discussion was on the part-time work system that was prepared by the Authority and recently approved at the level of the Federal Government, as well as the teleworking system and the latest developments in regard to its experimental implementation.
It should be noted that the Authority has developed a policy of telecommuting based on the best international practices in this regard. The system has been applied experimentally in the Federal Government since nearly one and a half year ago.
The visit provides an ideal opportunity to transfer the Federal Government’s experience in the implementation of the system to all DGHR and thus to the local institutions in the Government of Dubai.
The delegation was received by Hamad Buamim, Director of Policy and Legal Affairs, and a number of employees from Human Resources Policy Sector. The delegation included Saif Bin Yaarouf, Senior Projects Manager, Shorouq Al-Hermoudi, HR Consultant, and Mariam Eisa Mohamed, Senior Specialist.
At the outset of the meeting, Hamad Buamim welcomed the guests of the Authority, stressing the importance of the visit in transferring of the best human resources solutions and practices applied at the Federal Government level to the local governments, in addition to exchange of success stories related to human capital development. He confirmed the Authority’s readiness to put its accumulated experience at the disposal of partners at the local and global levels.
