The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) launched, in cooperation with Dar Al-Ber Society, Al-Meer al-Ramadani Initiative, to provide food baskets to needy families in the country, as well as various forms of support and assistance that would help them cope with the exceptional emergency circumstances due to Coronavirus outbreak.
In this regard, Mahmoud Al Marzooqi, Director of Government Communications Department at the Authority said: “This initiative coincides with Zayed Day for Humanitarian Action, which falls on 19th Ramadan every and also comes as part of the existing cooperation between the Authority and Dar Al-Ber Society in the field of humanitarian and charitable work. The aim is to alleviate the suffering of some families affected by the pandemic, by providing them with basic foodstuffs they need.”
According to Al Marzooqi, the Authority has launched the initiative to give opportunity for the largest number of people to participate in charity work through social networking sites, SMS and e-mail of HR Management Information System in the Federal Government "Bayanati". He called on all segments of society to support the initiative by donating through SMS messages.
He urged the Federal Government employees and the public to contribute to the success of the initiative and donate AED 10, by sending an SMS with the word (Meer) through Etisalat or Du- to number 2289, AED 20 to number 6025, AED to 6027, and AED 200 to 6027.
He explained that the Authority’s community initiatives are aimed at maximizing the number of beneficiaries inside and outside the country, as well as consolidating institutional loyalty and happiness through volunteering.
